Ways to Serve

Every month, on the third Sunday of the month, we pass around sign-up sheets during and following worship for volunteer needs.  Some of these tasks require one or two people, some need a hundred!  We believe every member of our church should participate in serving in at least one project per year.  We will also include a Time and Talent sheet in October News & Views for those who may not be in worship on the third Sundays of the month.

~Prepare, fold, and stuff church mailings.

~Serve at the Community Dinners.

~Read Scripture during the worship service.

~Christmas Market with a Difference

~Distribute Sunday flowers following worship

~Serve coffee for Sunday Fellowship hour

~Prepare cookies and/or serve at funeral receptions.

~Become a host family or a confirmation mentor.

~Help with Nursery Care or Church School.

~Sort and file choir music.

~Serve dinner at the Good Neighbor Clinic - 2nd Wed. of the month.

~Usher for Sunday morning worship.

~Rake, weed, and trim the church gardens.
